Following a project in the context of the ITU-T Focus Group Digital Financial Services, which was later continued as FIGI (Financial Inclusion Global Initiative), Focus Infocom developed a novel set of metrics that describes the QoS of digital money transfers. These metrics were then field-tested and validated in a pilot project.
The methodology and KPI definitions were contributed for standardization in ITU-T Study Group 12. Two ITU-T Recommendations were created from the material:
G.1033: “QoS and QoE aspects of digital financial services”. Approval date 2019-10-14.
P.1502: “Methodology for QoE testing of digital financial services”. Approval date: 2020-01-13. For further information please refer to
The work done in the Focus Group DFS and FIGI and these two Recommendations, are another example of Focus Infocom’s expertise and dedication to create novel, task-specific methodologies and QoS metrics optimized for specific requirements.
