A new Study Question, Q20, has been added to ITU-T Study Group (SG) 12. The scope of the new Q20 is Perceptual and field assessment principles for quality of service (QoS) and quality of experience (QoE) of digital financial services (DFS).

This new Study Question has been initiated by Focus Infocom, in the context of ground-breaking work on metrics and methodologies for Digital Financial Services, now standardized as ITU-T Recommendations G.1033 and P.1502.

Since then, the methodology has been extended further to cover a wide range of use cases for person-to-person money transfer, including inter-operator and cross-country operation. The new Q20 will work on further evolution of metrics and methodologies for DFS. The full definition of the terms of reference can be found here.
